Derek is Special Staff Assistant for the City of Buffalo (City Hall). He participated in SUNYMEU as an undergraduate, served as SUNYMEU Graduate Student Director for SUNYMEU 2023, and joined IEUSS as a research associate in 2024. Derek facilitates IEUSS outreach with media and local government.
Derek holds a BA from SUNY Oswego (Communication/Political Science) and is an MPA student at SUNY Buffalo State University.
