SUNY Buffalo State will host SUNYMEU 2022 April 7-9, 2022. Please check back frequently as we post registration information, travel information, lodging, and other conference details over the coming months.
SUNYMEU is open to all undergraduate and graduate students from anywhere in the world. As SUNYMEU is student-run and student-directed (faculty directors advise students, and crucially, raise funds to support SUNYMEU!), faculty advisors are not required to accompany college delegations. A country delegation is comprised of four students (head of government, foreign minister, finance minister, permanent representative).
If your campus does not have four students to participate, our student organizers will work with you to place you on a delegation with students from other campuses.
Meet our SUNYMEU 2022 & 2023 Faculty Directors!
We are delighted to co-direct SUNYMEU 2022 and honored to be able to bring SUNYMEU to SUNY Buffalo State's campus during the 2021-22 academic year when we celebrate Buffalo State's Sesquicentennial. SUNYMEU is a hands-on approach to learning about European Union institutions, governance, policies, and policymaking, which underscores Buffalo State's founding as a normal school for training teachers for Buffalo's public schools. We pledge to bring SUNYMEU back to its foundation of "student-run, student-managed." Buffalo State's Department of Political Science and Public Administration serves as SUNYMEU 2022's "home base."
We will be announcing our student leadership team during the Fall 2021 semester.
